US Parachute Association (USPA) and Merit

The US Parachute Association has partnered with Merit to send their members merits for their membership, licenses, ratings, and awards. Find out how to opt-in to receive your digital copies of your USPA merits below.

How to opt in and receive USPA merits

Login to your USPA membership account at www.uspa.org , navigate to the Privacy tab, and set your account to “Share” (see below)

In most cases, your merit(s) will be issued within the hour, it some cases it can take up to 1 business day after opting in for your merit to be issued. You’ll receive notification and further directions via email.

How to find your USPA merits

If you are a USPA member (or past member) and you’ve opted in to receive your merits within your USPA account AND it’s been over 24 hours, access your merits by entering your email here and follow the prompts.

Troubleshooting

No merits found for your email address

If you are opted in and have been for 24 hours, please double-check that you are using the same email address on your USPA account as you are attempting to log in to your Merit profile.

If you are still are not able to access your merits, please reach out to us at help@merits.com.

When claiming your merits, please use an updated version of Chrome, Safari or Firefox or Edge.

Did you get a message that your merit was removed? 

USPA may revoke or remove merits if discrepancies are discovered.  If you would like to know why or think this was done by mistake, please contact USPA at uspa@uspa.org.

Merge and add emails to your Merit profile

Do you use different email addresses for different organizations? Would you like to consolidate all of your merits into one profile? Here are the steps to do so.

* If you should have USPA merits, but only see UPT Merits in your merit page, (or vise versa), you’re probably using 2 different email addresses.

**If you have linked your BurbleMe account with Merit AND you are using multiple email addresses that you have NOT merged, you’ll only be sending SOME of your merits to Burble, and not ALL. Please be sure to merge your accounts before you integrate with Burble and check-in to the dropzone.

*** Merge requests will be fulfilled within 72 hours.

Merits not updating with your membership or rating renewals

Have you renewed your USPA membership and/or ratings and discovered that your merit is still coming up expired? There are a few possible reasons why your USPA membership and merits are not sharing the same information.

USPA account is not currently opted in to receive merits.

Please confirm that you are opted in to receive USPA merits.

You have updated your email address associated with your USPA membership

If you have updated your email address with the USPA, you can add the new email address to your Merit profile. Here are the steps to do so.

Have your membership, licenses, or ratings been processed by the USPA?

Once applications and renewal have been processed, please allow up to 48 hours for your merit to arrive.

How to renew your USPA merits

All merits are renewed by their issuing organization. Please contact the USPA for renewal instructions, forms, pricing and details.
