If you are currently having trouble accessing your account because you have forgotten your password, please follow the instructions below:
Before you get started
Make sure that:
- You are logged out of your account prior to resetting your password. If navigating to app.merits.com takes you to your profile page, just click the gear icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select Logout.
- Add email@example.com to your contacts. This is the email that the password reset link will come from and will prevent the email from getting blocked or going to your spam folder.
Step by Step Guide
Step 2. Below the password box, you’ll see a Forgot password link. Click the link to proceed.
Step 3. Enter your email in the new window and click the Reset button.
Step 4. If the email entered matches a Merit account, you will receive a reset password email shortly. If the email does not match a current Merit account, you’ll get an immediate error message.
Step 5. Click the link in the email and you will be redirected to a new reset password page
Step 6. Enter a new password that meets the strength requirements. Re-enter the password to confirm, then hit “Reset”.
Step 7. Once reset, you can now login with this new password.
